Motion Products, Inc. and the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum

event is a combination of a traditional fall drive put on by
Wayne Obry of MPI and a fundraising event to help raise money for the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum to provide arts education for underprivileged youth.

This is a three day event being held in Wisconsin’s Fox River Valley and famous Door County Peninsula. There is a little bit of something for everyone.

Friday, October 10, 2014 – Ferraris. Fare. Fun.
The kick-off event will be a fundraising dinner at Liberty Hall in Appleton, WI where Bill Murphy of MPI and Editor of Glass Quarterly, Andrew Page will speak to the group.

5:00 pm     Begin with Ferraris and cocktails at Liberty Hall in Kimberly, WI
6:30 pm     Welcome and introductions
6:45 pm     Paul Stankard video followed by Editor of Glass Quarterly, Andrew Page
7:30 pm     Dinner
8:00 pm     Wayne Obry video introduced by David Woods of Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass Board and
                  Ferrari Club Member followed by Bill Murphy, owner of Motion Products, Inc.

Saturday, October 11, 2014 – Beautiful Drives, Artful Discussions and Dinner
Whether you’re a car or art lover there are a number of activities planned.

Saturday Door County Drive/Poker Run
Join Motion Products, Inc. and their staff as they lead you through Door County on a drive/poker run. This event is only open to the first 30 cars who register and a full weekend ticket must be purchased to participate. This drive/poker run is designed to help you explore beautiful Door County, WI and experience firsthand why it is described as a “Premier Destination.”

Follow the group or explore on your own. A booklet of information and optional stops will be available. There are three designated stops throughout Door County to pick up your poker cards. At the end of the day everyone will be competing against one another for the best poker hand to win prizes.

The day will conclude at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass.
6:30 – 9:00pm     Everyone will meet for a casual dinner on Bergstrom-Mahler’s lakeside lawn to mingle
                           and enjoy the fall colors.

Sunday, October 12, 2014 – Breakfast, Tours and Beauty Beyond Nature.
9:00am – Noon   Private Tours will be offered by MPI at their Hwy. 76 location and the Bergstrom-Mahler
                          Museum of Glass. All participants are welcome to visit one or both locations. A continental
                          breakfast will be provided at both locations.

Cost of the three day event is $250 p/couple or $175 single.
*Hotel, transportation and lunches not included in price.
